It was in month of May year 2004, i met this person.. it was very impress to listen what he teach about Mass Transfer Phenomena.
Thanks to God that i’ve been in contacts with him till now eventhough we only met one time.
I wrote this with High Respect to this person.
His name is Robert Kuratle, Robert i used to call him in my SMS, sometimes i called him a “teacher” also.
He was born 1943 in Uzwil SG. Chemical Engineer Degree in 1966 from University of Apllied Sciences, Winterthur/Switzerland
When i met Robert, Robert teach me how to understand such an equipment (Physical Mist Eliminator-Vane Type) by understanding the phenomena. In a large meeting room in Wijnegem, Belgium he teach me how to “feel” the phenomena. This is kind different from ordinary thought given by others. That’s why i called him a teacher some times.
He was as a Vice President of a big (GROUP) company for Europe Region, a company who manufacture an equipment in mass transfer process. In Indonesia, few years ago, if we look at the Column in oil Refinery with 30 or 50 meters height, almost 85% all over Indonesia is their market.
Im surprised for this Gentle of Robert, even though Robert is a Vice President from a Big Company, he is till have the humble heart when he met me at that time.
It was about 6.13 pm Antwerp Time, we have a dinner.
He asked me what i want to eat and drink. Robert offer me to eat Asparagus and Rabbit Soup and a glass of table beer (sarsapila i guess? it’s kind sweet, but did not made me drunk). Robert said that those table beer were much better than Heineken.. he he he
Time goes by, after 2004 even though we were separated in more than a thousands of mile distance we stil keep contacted to each other.
So far, all i can learn from Robert is about how Robert Build and Keep the trust. Same for me, i do admit that i’m not that to “professional” compare to Robert, but however GOD has permit us to met in a time when i was in Belgium.
Some night ago, i was very surprised to found that Robert still has some “story” that never tells, it’s about that Robert hold some patents in an Equipment we usually talked years ago. He also found and become the director of 2 (two) companies in Winterthur and he Speaks in 6 language.
Robert Kuratle, I pray to God for you to have a life that full of Joy and Happiness, where ever you are Sir ! and please do not get bored if i ask for your assistance, so i can be like you, better if i can…
With all respect from Indonesia to Robert in Geneva, Moscow, Frankfurt, Winterthur, Black Sea….anywehre you are.
